Project Account: Gyeonggi Warehouse Expansion
Client: Private hosting operator expanding from 0.12 PH/s to 0.38 PH/s
Challenge: Existing 200A panel was near capacity. Adding 130 new ASIC units without a service upgrade required careful load balancing across three PDUs and staggered startup sequencing.
Our work: We produced a load schedule showing which units could start simultaneously, sourced S19j Pro units within the client’s joule-per-terahash budget, and completed installation over ten days including a weekend burn-in.
Outcome: Final measured hash rate was 0.37 PH/s — 2.6% below theoretical due to one underperforming unit flagged for warranty replacement. Client retained us on a maintenance retainer.
Project Account: Seoul Metro Noise Compliance
Client: Operator running 0.09 PH/s in a semi-residential building
Challenge: Neighbour complaints about fan noise during summer nights.
Our work: Noise survey at property boundary, recommendation to switch from stock fans to aftermarket silenced units, and ducting redesign to direct exhaust away from residential windows.
Outcome: Measured noise dropped 8 dB at the nearest residence. Operator accepted slightly higher internal temperatures (from 32°C to 35°C ambient at intake) in exchange for compliance.
